WHY BAYT SALAM EXISTS
Everyone tells ministry workers they need to rest. Very few provide a place where they actually can.
Time away often means guest rooms, borrowed couches, or accommodations pieced together through generous friends. That generosity matters, but it does not always provide the privacy, space, or unhurried family time needed for genuine restoration. Bayt Salam exists to offer something different: a complete home, freely shared.

Bayt Salam is a comfortable three-bedroom home in San Angelo, Texas. It is designed for ordinary family life: shared meals, unhurried mornings, laughter in the pool, quiet corners, and space to be together without being on display.

Every stay is different because every family is different. No specific form of assistance is promised, but no guest has to arrive as a stranger.

Who may request a stay?
Bayt Salam is intended for Christian ministry workers and their immediate families who need a place for rest, renewal, or transition. Each request is considered personally.
Is there a cost?
Approved ministry stays are offered without a lodging charge. Guests are responsible for their own travel, food, and personal expenses unless another arrangement is specifically discussed.
Is this the same as the public vacation-rental listing?
No. Paid vacation-rental stays and ministry requests are handled separately. Income from paid guests helps make ministry hospitality possible.
How long may a family stay?
Length of stay depends on availability, the family's needs, and the purpose of the visit. Include your preferred dates and circumstances in the request.
What happens after I submit the form?
You will receive a personal response. Submitting a request does not automatically reserve the home; it begins a conversation about fit, dates, and needs.
